Hold my hand, little one.

Ava’s naming day was one of the best days on my life, honestly. I was so incredibly proud of her, us and what we have achieved in the last year and it felt like a celebration of that. It was a day to spend with all of our nearest and dearest, and thank everyone for supporting us through our parenting journey so far. We chose precious people to be Ava’s ‘responsible adults’, people who I don’t doubt will be here for her always.

Andrew and I arn’t religious (although spiritual), so decided on a lovely local ceremony at our register office, followed by a ‘Peter Rabbit’ afternoon tea at my mothers house. We did the food, ordered a cake and gifts, and ultimately it was perfect. All of the babies and children had fun, it was relaxed and homely and (hopefully) everyone enjoyed catching up over prosecco and cake.

Here some pics of the special day.

Thank you to everyone that came to our special day- and sorry this post is SO late!

Until next time,
