Now, there's absolutely nothing wrong with either staying at home, working, or anywhere in between. Whatever works, works. But it did get me thinking, CAN you have it all?
Hell, it’s probably only been the last few months that I have truly felt like the mother I thought I would be. And that we all do our best, and we are Amazing at what we do.
Never did I feel the compassion, pride and self confidence that I do now, as a Mother. But never did I feel The Fear, either.
Hi friends! Ava was 6 months old yesterday, and in weeks she's 27. They never correlate do they? This month... She rolls both ways competently. She stands and wobbles with just a little help. She loves to bounce anywhere. She has a sense of distance, and can tell when mummy or daddy are no longer … Continue reading 6 months old!
"In the Mum and baby world there are plenty of blogs/ facebook posts/ instagram photos where life seems pretty rosy. Mum looks perfect, baby even cuter and not a hint of a dark circle under any eyes. This isn't real-which is why I decided to post this photo. "

Hello! Ava is now four weeks old! I can't believe it- in some ways its been the slowest, most incredible, exhausting, emotional, loving four weeks of my life. In others, it feels like she's been here forever and I can't imagine what I did before having her! I've started quite a few blog posts detailing … Continue reading The birth story- part one.
We've been home now for nearly two weeks and I can't imagine life without Ava. It's been the hardest, most emotional, rewarding, amazing, overwhelming, exhausting, fascinating and loving time we've ever experienced. I have felt the lowest I've felt in a long, long time with the baby blues and equally have felt the most amazing … Continue reading Home with Ava- the first post.
